Project #1 - Favourite Waiter.

Often we go to tanjung to do our planning, Tanjung the mamak stall in USJ 9. Food there is great. We are so regular there that we even "had" a favourite waiter there. His name is Sagul. (his short name)

One day we found out that he was going back to India for good, to get married and get a steady job there with his family members. So we decided to make him a munkie-fied tee as a leaving gift.
Much effort put in this one, because he was our waiter. We do miss him lots. :)

The Making of Munkie5.

It started our as a trio, Me (Corey), Joe and Daryll.

After talking in tanjung about making this t-shirt thing worked, Daryll - mostly the brains of the design - looked for interesting designs we could use as to make our new hand painted t-shirts.
And so it began after finding a specific design we wanted to make, on the next day I took Joe out for a ride to get the t-shirts and paint that we needed to use.
At night at about 9.30p.m we met up and started painting our t-shirts. It did take us sometime to master the skills that we needed - having to paint with patience and concentration, making no mistake, Cutting out the designs we wanted to use for designing the t-shirts.
And we didn't come out with a name for our small little group of 3 at that point of time because we thought of just doing this like something to do during your free time.

Anyways, on the second day of designing the t-shirt - mine, joe's and daryll's - Peter joined us, and really helped us out with the painting. (he has the best painting skills)
After that, Peng Seong, also known as Seth wanted to make a t-shirt for himself too (so did peter) but I and Joe had to go for a business trip, so Daryll helped them with their T-shirts after completing the trios.

Close to 2 days after finishing the first. Came 3 of Ours - Together with Monkey Logo.

The designs came first - then we made the Monkey Logo. It was one of the toughest to cut out. Took at least 3 days for all 3 monkeys to be ready for painting. Here's how it looks like :

This will be "SEE". There's another 2 which is "HEAR" and "SPEAK".

Many things happen while making these. Haha.. Yes, Many.. Like i said, we love monkey-ing around. So... things do get a little messy around us when we do things. I'll try to get it running on this blog (the videos i mean) as soon as i can so you guys can enjoy as much as we enjoy making the t-shirts too. :)

Then we have the other two Munkies who have been making their t-shirt designs and painting them while me and Joe was away for 3 days. Peter and Seth. Am not 100% sure of how long they took, but i think it was about 2 days. Completed fast because some of the designs were already ready to be painted on. Thank God for that.
